The Laboratory Accreditation Bureau (LAB) is a
nationally recognized accreditation organization
that accredits testing laboratories in
accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 (“General
requirements for the competence of testing and
calibration laboratories”). In addition to
national recognition, an LAB accreditation is
recognized by the European countries as well,
and allows tests and test results to be accepted
as a result a bilateral mutual recognition
agreement with the European cooperation for
Accreditation (EA). Accreditation bodies
that are signatories to the APLAC MRA agree to
recognize the technical equivalency of the test
reports or calibration certificates issued by
their accredited laboratories. Additional
information concerning other endorsements and
agreements may be obtained from the LAB web site
at
http://www.l-a-b.com/. Specific
details on our LAB accreditation can be seen in
our
certification document
from LAB.
